ExtremeLine receives EMAS certification again

Sustainability and environmental protection are of great importance to us, which is why we are pleased to announce that we have once again been awarded the EMAS certificate. EMAS stands for Eco-Management and Audit Scheme and is an EU-wide environmental management system for improving the environmental performance of companies. In this article, we would like to take a closer look at why EMAS certification is important to us and how we protect our environment and achieve economic success at the same time by acting sustainably.

How we write an Emas report

EMAS certification is a voluntary environmental management certification developed by the European Union. EMAS certification enables a company to improve its environmental management, save resources, reduce its environmental impact and communicate its environmental performance to the outside world. This can help to improve the company’s image, reduce costs, facilitate access to markets and meet legal requirements. An EMAS certificate also shows that the company actively contributes to sustainability and is aware of its responsibility for the environment.

We are aware of this responsibility and it is also anchored in our company philosophy. But that is only part of the story.

Success requires inspiration, cool and daring ideas and a willingness to change. That’s why in 2021 Hendrik Schulze from the H.-J.
Schulze GmbH and Christian Kalteis from S.E. System Electronic GmbH and talked about sustainability together for the first time. So our
specialist partner, Hendrik Schulze from Braak just outside Hamburg, provided the impetus for this sustainability report. The first EMAS report was published shortly afterwards in 2021.

Sustainability and ExtremeLine - a long history

Founder Reinhold Kalteis on the history of sustainability at ExtremeLine:

” Since I started my own business, the concept of sustainability has been a key feature of my entrepreneurial activities. It has shaped me and inspired me in product development to only bring products onto the market that stand for quality and therefore longevity, but also decisively for resource conservation.

I have always been fascinated by the principle of the tiled stove. It stores the heat for a long time and only gradually releases it into the ambient air. With the HeatZone Classic infrared radiant heater developed under the ExtremeLine umbrella brand, we have succeeded in revolutionizing the market for sustainable heating. Just like a tiled stove, our infrared radiant heaters do not heat up the room so quickly, but warm up the surrounding objects and materials. These store the heat and release it over a longer period of time
from. The basis for sustainable product development, which combines the effectiveness of heat with cost efficiency, was created.

"In terms of active further development and product longevity."

Together with my sons, we are continuing to develop our products under the ExtremeLine brand and adding to the existing product range in a targeted manner. This is done with a view to maximizing sustainable and efficient production. We already draw a lot of energy from our own solar and photovoltaic system. An important step on the way to achieving this is the ongoing improvement of our operational environmental performance and the further reduction of resource consumption. This drives us to keep an alert eye on changes and to develop innovations.
into the operating processes.

It goes without saying that we put people at the center of our daily work, especially our employees, who support our strategic approach with their commitment, expertise and sense of responsibility. We would like to thank them most sincerely for this. We would like to thank our customers and partners for their long-standing relationship and loyalty to our company. It is both an incentive and an obligation for us
at the same time – every day.”

Why ExtremeLine products are sustainable

At ExtremeLine, we not only focus on innovative and high-quality products, but also attach great importance to sustainability and environmental protection. By producing at the Halfing site and linking the supply chain to mostly German companies, we not only promote the regional economy, but also avoid long transportation routes. For all other product parts that we cannot have produced in Germany, we maintain very close contact with the manufacturing companies.

ExtremeLine pays particular attention to the manual work involved in manufacturing its products. Whether it’s sliding roof windows, LED sports or infrared radiant heaters, every product is manufactured with care and attention to detail.

By constantly optimizing resource conservation and efficiency, ExtremeLine products help to minimize the ecological footprint. They are also characterized by their high material quality, which not only ensures a long service life, but also guarantees the sustainable use of resources.

So if you are looking for durable, efficient and sustainable products that are also made in Germany, you should definitely take a closer look at ExtremeLine products. With our holistic approach to sustainability, ExtremeLine and S.E. System Electronic make an important contribution to the environment and show that customer satisfaction, economic efficiency and environmental protection can go hand in hand.
