Application example: Conservatory, patio roofing and co.

Experience the winter, summer garden and patio dream with innovative products. The new dimension of well-being!

A patio cover or cold conservatory offers customers the opportunity to enjoy their outdoor oasis all year round. Right? Wrong! Especially in the sunny summer months, heat and glare problems can quickly occur under the roof. At the same time, the cold in winter makes for uncomfortable hours in the otherwise cozy room and poor lighting also means that the room is used for a shorter period of time. In Germany, for example, optimum conditions for summer gardens and patio roofs only prevail on around 60 days. This makes a conventional summer garden, for example, one of the most expensive square meters in a house.

ExtremeLine offers a wide range of products for cold, winter and summer gardens and patio covers to extend the period of use to 290 days. How does that work? Actually quite simple! With infrared radiant heaters, LEDs and electric sliding roof windows, ExtremeLine sets new standards in terms of innovation, well-being and comfort. Find out all about the application possibilities and advantages for this special area of application here – and all of it “Made in Germany”!

Why should you choose our ExtremeLine products? What are the advantages?

With infrared heating from ExtremeLine you can save yourself up to 70% in costs. Our heaters are very powerful, can heat a lot of area with a small number of devices. They have a long service life and are comparatively cheap. Another advantage of radiant heaters is the low red light component and their compatibility for allergy sufferers. In addition, even in a light breeze, our infrared radiant heaters heat reliably.

If you have a radiant heater, you may also have to deal with the inrush current limiter, which is automatically integrated into our products. So you don’t have to worry about this.

What’s more, our ExtremeLine infrared heaters are minimally invasive and blend in perfectly with the architectural design! Here, the devices can be mounted with joints or rope attachments. Also, the general installation effort is much less than other heaters. Thus, costs are saved again.

And there is another advantage. Our devices are manufactured at our production site in Halfing am Chiemsee and were also developed there. In addition, our products have a very high quality standard and low maintenance. However, if a carbon tube should break, you can easily replace it yourself. Our carbon tubes are much more robust and insensitive compared to the commercial gold tubes.

"Open fire for the ultimate barbecue experience: tips for perfect barbecuing in the summer garden and under a patio roof!"

Anwendung des HeatTowers im Wintergarten

Barbecue in the summer garden

  1. The right place for the barbecue: If possible, place the barbecue on the side open to the garden to ensure adequate ventilation and avoid smoke accumulation under the ceiling and minimize the risk of smoke poisoning. The same applies here: make sure that the heat build-up on the glass of the summer garden or patio roof does not cause any problems.

  2. Which type of barbecue: An electric barbecue or gas barbecue is more suitable for the summer garden than a classic charcoal barbecue. For logical reasons, the latter should remain outside due to heat and smoke development.

  3. Exhaust air and smoke development: Ensure good exhaust air so that the smoke can escape. The sliding elements should also be opened for this purpose and the grill should be positioned at a window. So that the smoke can immediately escape through the window.

  4. Safety: The barbecue must stand securely and upright. Always keep a safe distance and avoid fire accelerants such as alcohol and flames.

1. ventilation is also important here: make sure that there is sufficient air circulation. If, for example, the slats or sliding elements are closed, it can get hot under the roof. Therefore, open them partially to dissipate the heat.

2. the smoke outlet: make sure that the smoke from the barbecue can escape easily. Sufficient ventilation is important to avoid smoke accumulation.

3. materials: Use heat-resistant underlays or special grill mats to protect the roof from the effects of heat.

4. cleaning: After the barbecue season, you should clean the roof to remove grease and soot deposits and to prevent damage to the paintwork.
Remember to follow the manufacturer’s instructions for your slatted roof and always put safety first.

5. Polycarbonate Glass roof: If you are lucky enough to have your own patio roof, please take note: Never place the barbecue under your polycarbonate roof! Instead, a stable location close to the patio is ideal for the barbecue.
